Floaters

4:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

 

Job Description: Fill in for volunteers who are no-shows and assist other volunteers as needed. You may be waiting or you may be busy the entire time. Either way, it’s an important role and huge help to us. Please feel free to bring a book to read while Requirements waiting to be assigned a task.

Requirements: Flexible, patient, able to entertain yourself, cheerful, and willing to pitch in however and wherever needed. 

 

 

Raffle Ticket Sellers

4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

 

Job Description: Roam the Studio B during the cocktail hour offering guests the chance to purchase tickets to win fabulous raffle prizes. Volunteers will not handle cash. You will be on your feet for your whole shift and will wear a top hat (provided) to help guests identify you.

Requirements: Super outgoing, fun-loving, enthusiastic and friendly. You enjoy approaching guests and getting them to purchase tickets.

 

 

Silent Auction & Bid Sheet Attendants

5:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

 

Job Description: Monitor Silent Auction tables and answer guest questions. When the Silent Auction closes, take bid sheets immediately to Registration/Check-in Lead. During the Live Auction run the bid sheets from the dining room to the Registration/Check-out area for recording. Distribute auction items to winners when guest’s check-out at 10:00 p.m. (may change as needed). Thank guests for joining us. You will stand and walk throughout your shift. Prior experience in this role at a fundraising auction is preferred.

Requirements: Smiling, friendly. Helpful, energetic and able to be firm with guests who try to bid after section closes.
